Each class is different rather than repeating the same asanas and developing the poses over a term. Each time we follow the same basic format of a variety of asanas and finally winding down and relaxing.
Helen Were’s restorative style of yoga, releases tension and toxins from the body and focuses on grounding with the feet and breathe. She draws inspiration from my teachers, my students and from nature to try and identify what each of us needs to re-balance our bodies.
The practice includes asanas that will benefit and enhance our whole selves – mind body and spirit – and which can help us learn to be kind and tolerant with our bodies. With gentle and releasing asanas we feel how our bodies can change, how our mind gets calmer and how by working with the deepest cells in our bodies we can re-balance and tone our bodies, bringing a sense of well being and contentment.
