A while ago, during my first trip to India, I first came in contact with yoga.
Since then I have tried and practiced several styles of yoga, but fell in love with Vinyasa.
Yoga has always been in my life but some periods more than others, until I felt the change within myself and realized the moment you integrate yoga into your daily life and start practicing intensively, something magical starts to happen.
Through further study, not only the physical part of yoga, but also the philosophy, I was convinced that yoga always had to be a big part of my life.
In 2014 I became a certified Vinyasa yoga teacher, studied at Yogagarden Amsterdam, Netherlands.
As a teacher I find it my duty to keep studying and refreshing my knowledge and therefore I also regularly follow trainings and workshops by various international teachers in different styles and disciplines. Since July 2016 I have also became a certified prenatal yogateacher (Birthlight institute).
I have been teaching at different yoga studios, sport/health centers and events in the Netherlands (where I am originally from).
My vinyasa classes are dynamic, challenging but suitable for all levels.
In my classes I strive to create a safe and trusting atmosphere, where there is space for everyone to explore and observe their own body, emotions and consciousness, rather than just following a routine.
I am always looking for the right balance between action of movements and integration of breath and moments of complete relaxation and stillness.
I love listening and practicing on music and use this element in my classes.
As a teacher I am there to guide you through the flow and I feel privileged to be there for you.
