All practitioners and teachers at the Centre are comprehensively qualified and insured with recognised professional organisations. Clients undertaking any treatments, therapies, classes or courses offered at the Centre do so at their own risk and are contracting with the individual practitioners or teachers concerned and not with The Alternative Healthcare.
Prebooked classes are non-refundable. However, in the event of a cancellation, all or part of the booking fee may be commuted to a future booking at the discretion of the Centre. No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours automatically incur the full charge.
Stored Value Credit can be used for any of the Centre’s classes unless otherwise stated. Credit must be used within 12 months of the purchase date. No refunds are available for any fully or partially unused credit.
Monthly Passes are valid for 6 months, starting from the date of purchase. They are not refundable, non transferable, and cannot be suspended for any reason.
The Centre reserves the right to change a teacher and/or classroom at any time and may alter its class timetable without notice. No refunds will be given in this respect.
Therapies must be paid for in advance or immediately after a treatment and are paid either directly to the therapist or held at reception and passed on to the therapist later. Payment and other issues concerning therapy sessions should be brought up with the individual practitioner concerned.
When booking a Centre workshop, please note that a refund can only be provided on cancellations made more than 14 days before the start date. After that, there will be no refunds or transfers unless your place can be filled from a waiting list. You may pass on your booking to a client, as long as you notify us via email (email@example.com). Please note that no refunds will be offered the day before or on the day of a workshop. If a workshop is cancelled by us, you will be offered a cash refund, or the option to transfer to another workshop of equal value.
Places on Centre courses once paid can only be refunded if a course has been cancelled. Externally organised courses or workshops are administered by the organisation stated. The Alternative Healthcare accepts no responsibility for any fees paid to its room hirers or matters concerning the courses/workshops themselves.
Annual members who refer a friend who subsequently signs up for annual membership receive £10 off monthly membership fees only for the duration of the friend’s membership.
The copyright, intellectual property rights, contents and any downloads from The Alternative Heathcare website are owned by or licensed to The Alternative Healthcare. Trademarks (registered or otherwise) used on the Centre’s website belong to The Alternative Healthcare.
The Centre has made reasonable and not misleading efforts and acted in good faith to make sure that all information provided in its website is accurate at the time of inclusion. The Centre makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, about the accuracy or completeness of the information provided through its website, including any links or any other items directly or indirectly related to the Centre’s website. When you book classes , we need to know your name, e-mail address to allow us to book your clases and keep in contact with you about changes/additions. All credit or debit card transactions are processed through Worldpay and Mindbodysystems who between them ensure that all transactions are fully secure by hosting the payment system on their servers not on The Alternative Heathcare.com and that all communications are protected by a host of innovative and established encryption techniques, all of which are continually updated and are regularly audited by the banking authorities to ensure complete security.
We also ask for your telephone number which enables us to contact you urgently if there is a problem with your booking.
We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of the store.

Treatments and Doctor Appointments
Credit card details are required at the time of bookings to confirm and guarantee your reservation. We hold this information as part of our cancellation policy and only make necessary charges to your account on the date of your scheduled service in the event there is a cancellation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment.
All bookings are subject to the cancellation policy, however this may be waived at the discretion of the Centre Manager.
Appointment cancellations made 48 hours in advance of the appointment have no cancellation charge. Otherwise any cancellation or non-attendance is subject to the full cost of the treatment.
Late arrival for your booking may result in a reduced treatment time and full payment will still be charged.
Full payment in advance is required on all package bookings to guarantee the reservation.
Non arrival or cancellation advised within 7 days will incur full cost of the package. Cancellations advised 7-30 days in advance will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations advised at least 30 days in advance will receive a full refund less a 5% admin fee.
